Freda Rebecca, in Zimbabwe, with a gold resource of 2.3m ozs produced 27,240 ozs in FY 2011. Zani-Kodo is a DRC gold exploration project with a gold resource of 1.4m ozs.
Bindura Nickel is the only integrated nickel mine, smelter and refinery operation in Africa. BNC boasts a Nickel resource of some 314kt.
Mwana is carrying out an exploration programme on vast copper prospective land in the Katanga region of the DRC.
Mwana’s Klipspringer diamond mine in South Africa produced 22,700 carats in FY2011. Mwana holds minority stakes in several diamond projects in the DRC, Angola and Botswana.
